Rigby Reading Evaluation and Diagnostic System [READS] Intervention
Rigby READS Intervention is a unique classroom reading assessment system that diagnoses student skill levels for placement into the Rigby Focus Forward program. The READS Intervention Student Test identifies instructional reading levels (IRLs) and places students for instruction in two groups.
The online assessment also determines specific skill levels for each student in comprehension, phonics, and vocabulary, to inform targeted instruction in the classroom.
Three test forms (A, B, and C) are available to assess performance at the beginning of the year and to monitor mid-year progress. With detailed student and class reports, READS Intervention allows you to strategically evaluate your students' achievements.
Developed with acclaimed reading and assessment expert Dr. Roger Farr, READS Intervention provides a valid progress monitor of each student's achievement.
This flexible and cost-effective system contains proven content based on the sixth edition of the Metropolitan Achievement Tests (MAT). Test items are valid and reliable, and READS' evidence-based testing meets the requirements of Reading First and the No Child Left Behind Act
And READS Intervention is easy to use. For assistance in getting started, see the Quick Start Instructions among the Help Desk links on the left side of the screen.
