RISE® K-5 helps teachers and district facilitators acquire the necessary skills to support ELLs and give them the scaffolded instruction needed to access the academic content of your curriculum.

Teacher Training - up to 2.0 CEUs
A Rigby consultant works with your district to provide 6 or 8 units of after school sessions as well as on-going classroom demonstrations and during school support. The consultant will work with your district to plan the format and scheduling that will meet your local needs.
Teacher Training is available for a minimum of 20 participants and a maximum of 60 participants. (Districts often work together to combine groups of participants to create the minimum number needed.)
Teacher Training - up to 3.5 CEUs
Your appointed Staff Developer can be trained to deliver RISE K-5 during a 3 to 5-day training session. Rigby schedules these training sessions throughout the country during the summer months. In addition, a training session can be customized to your location any time of the year with a minimum of 10 participants.
As a result of this course, teachers will be able to:
